Pros

  • Good protection of your browser

Cons

  • Doesn’t support many browsers and doesn’t work with Vista

The Browser Hijack Retaliator can protect your browser from external threats, and hijackers can no longer change your settings or re-route to junk sites. The program protects your browser from hijackers in many ways, so you will be able to securely go online. There is the Internet Explorer Page Guard, the BHO Guard, Favorites Guard and the Hosts File Guard, which are all tools to protect the corresponding items.

Browser Hijack Retaliator also includes a Browser Restore tool that can return your browser to the previous settings. The Startup Manager will also ensure that there is nobody else on your system and that all the programs started will be displayed. You will also be able to see all the toolbars installed in Internet Explorer, as well as browser extensions.

The IE Plus tool will erase cookies you don’t want to have anymore and also all recent URLs that were typed into Internet Explorer. The program will also keep hijackers from changing your browser homepage. If your browser does come under attack, then you can choose to start an automatic retaliation against whoever is attacking. The emergency repair function and the browser restore function will get your browser back to how it should be
